These are a few photos of our aparment in Siena. We scored big time when Valentina gave us this apartment. She is the person responsible for finding housing for the 60 UC students here (among other things). It was built in the 1300's, but is pretty comfortable for being 700 years old.

Of course, the bedroom is now a giant mess. The ceilings in here are about 25 feet high.

This is the view from one of the bedroom windows, looking down. Since nobody has clothes dryers, you see laundry hanging everywhere. The first time we did our laundry, we spent over $10 in coins to dry 2 loads of laundry.

A different view out our bedroom windows, looking strraight out.

Built in 1300 with such a nice bathroom.

And what the hell is this? Maybe I shouldn't have just crapped in it. Flush dammit!
